Paradise Valley lies between Phoenix and Scottsdale, with Camelback Mountain and Mummy Mountain towering above the Town. It covers approximately 16 square miles and sits at an elevation of 1,421 feet. A vast majority of the Town is zoned for one-acre minimum lots, allowing one house per lot.
The Town of Paradise Valley dedicated a memorial to Barry Goldwater, United States Senator, Town Resident, avid photographer and friend of the Native American Community on Town-owned property on the northeast corner of Lincoln Drive and Tatum Boulevard. The memorial includes a bronze statue of Senator Goldwater scupted by noted ARizona artis Joe Beeler.
