Idylwilde Park Historic District is bounded on the east by 12th Street, on the west by 11th Street, on the North by Fairmount Avenue, and on the south by Weldon Avenue.
Idylwilde is simply in its perfection: incorporate a three-acre park in the layout of the subdivision and grant residents not only park usage but also park ownership. Because the backyards of the homes in Idylwilde border the park, the park is sheilded from outsiders. The neighborhood features a variety of period revival style homes.
Period of Significance was from 1928-1934.
