F.W. Mathieson's original plan to develop a neighborhood in an "Americanized Dutch" style was never realized, showcasing rather a prominent concentration of the Ranch style home. There are 14 architectural styles represented here, including Southwest, Tudor, English Stone Cottage and Transitional Ranch. They average in size from 900 to 1,400 square feet. The homes are well-built with nice attention to detail – all in close proximity to Encanto Park and the State Fairgrounds.
Period of Significance was from 1928-1948.
